A Symposium Celebrating Professor Robert Dewar's Accomplishments in Plasma Physics

General Information
To celebrate Professor Robert Dewar’s 65th birthday and his accomplishments in plasma physics, a Symposium will be held on Saturday, October 31, 2009, in Atlanta, just before the 51st APS-DPP Meeting (November 2-6, 2009). The Symposium will take place in the Hyatt Regency Hotel---the conference hotel for the DPP-APS Meeting DPP-APS Meeting.
The Program for the Symposium will be posted in the near future. A number of Professor Dewar’s colleagues, collaborators, and former students have agreed to give talks at the Symposium. The Program will be followed by a banquet. If you have pictures or stories that you would like to share during the festivities, please contact Amitava Bhattacharjee or Stuart Hudson.
Please register for this Symposium online by August 15, 2009. The cost of registration includes the cost of facilities for the Symposium, coffee breaks, and the banquet.
